Connecting the QuickBooks integration

For authorised staff of Greaves & Harvey Ltd only

The QuickBooks integration is an internal tool used by Greaves & Harvey Ltd, trading as Turvey’s Fine Furniture, on our own company books. There is no public sign-up: connecting it requires both an authorised account in our shop system and an administrator account for our QuickBooks Online company.

How to connect

1. Sign in to the Turvey’s shop system as an owner.
2. Open the accounting settings and choose to connect QuickBooks. You will be sent to Intuit’s own sign-in page.
3. Sign in with the QuickBooks administrator account for Greaves & Harvey Ltd and confirm the company you are connecting.
4. Approve the access Intuit asks you to confirm. You are returned to the shop system, which shows the connection as active.

Your QuickBooks password is never seen or stored by us — sign-in happens on Intuit’s pages, and we hold only the access token Intuit issues afterwards.

Reconnecting

A connection can lapse — for example if it is disconnected in QuickBooks, if the authorising account changes, or if the access expires. Reconnecting is the same four steps above. Records made while the connection was down are not lost; they are carried across once it is live again.
